After Smartphone, tablets are the revolutionary devices which have shaken the world with its amazing large screen.  Most of the tablets run on Honeycomb and we love to play games, watch videos, swipe pictures, play music and lot more. If you continue working on tablet then battery power drain and you need to charge continuously. As we already know those honeycomb tables like Samsung Galaxy Tab, Asus Transformer Prime, Motorola Xoom etc. have high-end configurations and that keep us much addicted to social networking sites like Facebook and twitter to check updates. Saving battery might be a difficult job for you but it’s necessary. No problem, as it is very simple and efficient to save battery power of honeycomb tablet. Just follow my tips to manage power and save battery.

Power Management and Battery Usage Tips for Honeycomb tablets

Step 1: First tap on the Apps from the Home Screen.

Step 2: Then tap on the settings and choose ‘About tablet’.

Step 3: After that tap on the ‘Battery usage’ which actually shows the insight of the apps or programs that uses the battery (level of battery). The level of battery is calculated from the total consumption of power.

Step 4: Now tap on screen in the setting and then screen display, you can see the timeout. You must keep it to 1 minute and save it because this will be a helping hand to reduce battery consumption. We are showing this on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. It is necessary to adjusting the brightness and timeout

Step 5: In the Setting tap on Account & Sync option and there you can observe that the most power consumption in present and it also shows the nonstop sync or background sync of various accounts like your Gmail account, Facebook sync.

Step 6: In the setting tap on Account & Sync option and then select Background data, an attention message will get prompted and there you need to select OK. You must know that this is the main gift for your tablet to the save battery, but the one thing that will bother you that you have to manually sync or update application.

Step 7: You might have observed that the app as soon as you downloaded or present before on your tablet continuously runs on the background  unless until you close it or kill the task. This actually promotes battery consumption and put effect on the battery level.

Step 8: For the above issue you must tap on Apps-> Settings-> Applications-> Running Services and search the listed applications and services that are running on the device. After that select the apps and uninstall if you don’t need it or just tap on stop.
